One page per institution, the schedule checked at the source with its date, and three cases computed over a year. What was not verified is written as “not checked”, never guessed. And a calculator for your own case.
Commissions, ETFs and account maintenance, as checked. The detail, the exemptions and the computed cases are on each institution’s page.

ETF internal fees apply everywhere. A range means the schedule gives one.
A robot reads each broker’s pricing page and brings back its figures, sentence by sentence. The schedules are then filled in figure by figure, with the date of the check, and each page shows it. When a pricing page does not answer or says nothing, the field stays “not checked”.
For your own case, the calculator applies these schedules to your trades, your balance and your account type: the brokerage fee calculator.
Because each schedule has its own conditions: a tier above 150 trades here, a maintenance fee under a threshold there, a commission-free platform elsewhere. One page per institution lets you read everything line by line, with the date it was checked.
From each institution's pricing page, read at the source. Each fee page states when it was checked, and whatever was not verified is written as “not checked” rather than guessed.
It depends on your trades, your balance and your account type. The calculator ranks the eight institutions from those three answers. On commissions alone, Wealthsimple, Desjardins, National Bank and Questrade sit at $0.
No: it is funded by the Wealthsimple referral program and says so up front. The figures are those of the schedules. Code LOIO3A gets you $35 in total, after the request form.
