How to use the referral code
The easiest way: click "Copy the code and open Wealthsimple" at the top of the page, code LOIO3A is copied to your clipboard and the sign-up page opens. During account creation, paste the code into the "Referral code" field. You can also add it afterwards in the app: icon in the top right → "Enter a referral code".
The $10 cash back is not automatic: it's sent by Interac e-Transfer after you fill in the claim form higher up on this page. The exact order: 1) open your account with code LOIO3A, 2) deposit at least $100 within 30 days, 3) fill in the form with your first name, last name and Interac email.
As soon as Wealthsimple confirms the referral (usually within 24 hours of your deposit), the $10 e-Transfer goes out to your Interac email. Combined with the $25 Wealthsimple bonus, you get $35 total.

The contest is open to Canadian residents who have reached the age of majority, Quebec included, and no purchase is necessary.
To enter: a Wealthsimple Chequing account funded with at least $1, then register from the Monthly Millionaire page in the app, which gives you 1,000 entries. After that, every dollar of net deposits is worth one entry and every qualifying referral is worth 100,000 for the September 2026 edition, up to a cap of 300,000 entries per person. One side effect: the $100 deposit that unlocks your $25 bonus also counts as a net deposit in the contest.
