Where to enter your Wealthsimple referral code at sign-up
During account creation, Wealthsimple shows a "Referral code" field (sometimes under "Have a code?"), just before identity verification. That's where you enter LOIO3A. If you go through the button on this page, the code is applied automatically via the referral link, nothing to type.
Can't find the field? Finish signing up normally: you can add the code in the app right after (guide below), as long as you're within the 7-day window after your first deposit.

What's recoverable: if your first deposit was less than 7 days ago (or you haven't deposited yet), just add code LOIO3A in the app, no need to contact anyone. The $25 bonus and the $10 cash back by Interac e-Transfer (after the claim form on the homepage) remain fully available: $35 total.
What isn't: more than 7 days after your first deposit, the system rejects any code, support cannot apply the bonus retroactively, no matter the reason. You can still reach them to confirm your status: in-app chat (profile icon → "Get help") or help.wealthsimple.com, with replies usually within 1–2 business days. If the window has closed, other Wealthsimple promotions (account transfers, credit card, etc.) are still open to you.
